The Qualifications We Seek
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, reporting, or similar analytical support roles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access is required
- Hands-on experience analyzingoperational, business, performance, or transactional data
- Experience preparing recurring reports, dashboards, data summaries, and business presentations
- Strong ability to consolidate, clean, validate, and interpret large data sets accurately
- Working knowledge of reporting or BI tools such as Cognos and MicroStrategy is preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and business judgment skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and opportunities, then translate data into clear stakeholder insights
- Open to occasional travel as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, support multiple reporting requirements, and handle small analytical projects
- Self-motivated, proactive, professional, detail-oriented, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a remote setup
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and maintain POS, SKU, category, and sales reports to support business planning and performance reviews
- Analyze SKU performance, assortment mix, product portfolio, and category trends to identify optimization and growth opportunities
- Prepare reporting packs, business updates, presentations, and insights for planning meetings, S&OP discussions, PLRs, and category reviews
- Combine POS, causal, sales, and market data to generate practical recommendations for sales, marketing, product, and supply chain teams
- Apply data analysis models across different time periods to evaluate performance, demand patterns, and future business scenarios
- Support category management, go-to-market initiatives, product innovation, demand planning, and portfolio improvement activities
- Track key business performance indicators and communicate timely, action-oriented insights to relevant stakeholders
- Develop strong knowledge of reporting systems, data structures, spreadsheets, and presentation tools to improve reporting accuracy
- Translate complex data into clear business insights, recommendations, and scenario-based analysis
- Identify opportunities to automate reports, streamline analysis, and improve recurring reporting processes
