By joining us as a Senior Specialist, Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible in providing Logistics Support to the Pressure Management – Middle East and Africa Region, Internal and External Customers (direct and representative) during the Shipping/Warehousing/Dispatching of Orders cycle with particular focus on Customer Satisfaction. This gives you a very vital role in helping drive growth platforms and supports operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

For this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in data entry and/or data administration support or related functions, logistics, documentation management
  • Knowledge in trade compliance and any CRM
  • Execution and logistics experience with Pressure Regulator or Control Valve products is preferred.

In this role, you will:

  • Generate standard format Export/Import documents from business system.
  • Gatekeep and escalate concerns per International Trade Compliance (ITC) rules prior to shipment.
  • Coordinate with factory personnel/reps, Inside Sales and Customer Support Teams to monitor the status of orders.
  • Check Inco-terms and its implications from start to the end, i.e. from the point of collection to the point of delivery for all shipments from various suppliers around the world.
  • Gatekeep and escalate Checkpoint and Due Diligence Concerns to Champion and Legal Team prior to shipment.
  • Impose additional shipping requirements and additional costs to customer for shipment changes.
  • Coordinate collection of goods with LBP, freight forwarder, and factory Shipping Team.
  • Analyze, qualify, and complete change order request due to change in mode of transport or additional shipping requirements to Order Entry Team, Sales Team on additional cost, and factory for additional scope of work.
  • Gather, collect, organize and send electronic copies of shipping documents. Ensure quality and perfection, in accordance with the custom rules prevailing at the country of destination. Attention must be paid to avoid any probabilities of custom deposits / demurrage / storage etc.
  • Validate Purchase order model code and price against shipped goods.
