Your Role
As a Dynamics 365 Developer, you will:
Solution Design and Development
- Adopt the further development of the Dynamics 365 CRM application to incorporate the Parts & GET business, including additional entities, workflows, business rules, forms, views, and dashboards.
- Develop, configure and rollout the Dynamics 365 Marketing module as an extension of the current platform.
- Develop, configure and rollout the Dynamics 365 Fin/Ops core module.
- Build custom components using C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages).
- Design and implement integrations using PowerApps, Azure Functions,
- API Management, Dataverse APIs, and SSIS/KingswaySoft.
- Develop plugins, custom actions, and workflow extensions following best-practice coding standards.
System Enhancements & Support
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues within Dynamics 365 existing systems (and future integrated systems).
- Perform system upgrades, release deployments, and environment management (DEV/UAT/PROD).
- Maintain technical documentation including solution designs, configuration logs, interface specifications, and release notes.
- Engage peripheral suppliers to support integrations and maintenance thereof.
- Support the IT Team as a helpdesk 3 level support function for D365 applications
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with business analysts, product owners, and functional teams to gather requirements and validate solutions.
- Provide technical guidance on Dynamics 365 capabilities, constraints, and solution options.
- Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies, solution demos, and architectural reviews.
Governance and Quality
- Ensure solutions follow security, compliance, and data governance standards.
- Apply Microsoft best practices and patterns for scalable, maintainable solution architecture.
- Participate in code reviews, peer testing, and quality assurance processes
Strategy & Project Delivery
- Support the CIO, IT manager and business leaders on IT strategy and roadmaps.
- Regular communication on progress of D365 projects to ensure alignment to expectations on time and on budget.
- Support the review of new software solutions proposed by the business in the context of the D365 Dataverse.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Proven experience developing and administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions (with exposure to CRM, Marketing, Finance, or Operations modules).
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Strong proficiency in core coding and web technologies: C#, .NET Framework/Core, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Official Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-400, PL-600, MB-210/MB-220).
- Advanced understanding of Dataverse, including complex entity modelling and relational structures.
- Experience integrating CRM with external systems using REST APIs, Azure services, or middleware tools.
- Knowledge of modern DevOps practices, including source control (Azure DevOps/Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
- Experience using the Asana project delivery application and developing API integrations to D365.
