What You'll Do
As a Cybersecurity Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation's mission to maintain robust digital security. - Provide essential support for the implementation of various cybersecurity initiatives and projects, ensuring all activities align with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise effectively with Head Office as well as the Asia Pacific Corporate Function Coordination Department (APCF) on matters related to cybersecurity, fostering strong communication channels across regions.
- Assist in conducting annual Cyber Risk Assessments (CRA) and Vulnerability Assessments as required by Head Office, helping identify potential threats and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Offer IT operations support when needed, contributing to the smooth functioning of technology infrastructure within the organisation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote awareness of cybersecurity protocols and best practices throughout the company.
- Monitor emerging cyber threats by staying informed through reputable sources such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (ISAC), and other industry-leading institutions.
- Utilise security tools and technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software to maintain a secure network environment.
- Support the maintenance of Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) to ensure timely updates and patches are applied across all relevant systems.
- Participate in regular reviews of network security protocols, recommending enhancements based on current trends and vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to documentation efforts by preparing reports on assessments, incidents, and remediation activities for management review.
