Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to assess, design, and implement security solutions that protect the organization's IT infrastructure, applications, and data. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, vulnerability assessments, incident response, and compliance, with the ability to advise stakeholders on security best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Align cybersecurity initiatives with the business objectives and risk tolerance.

• Ensure compliance with regulations (e.g. DPA, etc).

• Manage the team of cybersecurity professionals and staff.

• Assist in the development and conduct of training and awareness programs for the organization.

• Identify, assess and prioritize cybersecurity risks.

• Manage and maintain the deviations on cybersecurity policies.

• Oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat modeling.

• Define, cascade and manage the cybersecurity requirements in all phases of the IT system development or deployment.

• Manage and regularly assess and report the cybersecurity posture of the organization.

• Asses, track and manage compliance to cybersecurity standards, controls, and policies across IT assets.

• Manage and lead the response to major security incidents, including communications to internal and external parties.

• Evaluate cybersecurity risks to be introduced by external partners, customers, vendors, etc.

• Ensure that only authorized and licensed software is installed organization-wide
