We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the organization's cybersecurity posture. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing enterprise systems, networks, cloud environments, and applications against evolving cyber threats while ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.

This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on security engineering experience, incident response capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cybersecurity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Security Engineering & Architecture

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop and enhance security architectures aligned with business and compliance requirements.
• Perform security reviews of infrastructure, applications, and system designs.
• Evaluate and deploy security technologies such as:
• EDR/XDR solutions
• Vulnerability Scanner
• SIEM platforms
• Secure Email Gateways
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Attack Surface Management
• Mobile Device Management
• Conditional Access
• Secured Authentication

Vulnerability Management

• Perform vulnerability assessments and risk analyses.
• Coordinate remediation efforts with infrastructure and application teams.
• Validate remediation effectiveness and track risk reduction initiatives.
• Support penetration testing activities and review findings.

Cloud Security

• Oversight of security controls for cloud platforms such as:
• Microsoft Azure
• AWS
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Support secure cloud adoption and migration initiatives.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks such as:
• ISO 27001
• NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• CIS Controls
• PCI-DSS
• GDPR (where applicable)
• Participate in internal and external security audits.
• Maintain security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Assist in security automation initiatives.
• Improve security operations efficiency through automation and orchestration.
• Research emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, Application, and Business teams.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance to projects and initiatives.
• Present security risks, findings, and recommendations to technical and management stakeholders.

Do you have experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in:
• Cyber Security
• Information Security
• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Related discipline

Experience

• 2-4 years of cybersecurity or security engineering experience.

Technical Skills

• Network security and security architecture.
• Security operations and incident response.
• Vulnerability management tools.
• SIEM platforms.
• Cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Endpoint Security solutions.
• Security hardening and configuration management.
• Email Security Gateway
• Privilege Access Management
• Active Directory

Nice to Have Certifications

One or more of the following:

• CompTIA Security+
• ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
• Microsoft SC-900
• Microsoft AZ-900
• Microsoft SC-200
