Your Role
As a Cyber Security Analyst (Security Operations & Risk), you will:
Work with managed service providers to investigate cyber security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and support containment, remediation, and recovery activities
Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM and Microsoft security tooling to detect suspicious or anomalous activity
Support the response to security incidents involving information systems, SaaS platforms, and ICT environments
Assist in remediation of vulnerabilities identified through scans, testing, and security audits in coordination with internal and external teams
Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational security procedures, runbooks, and incident response playbooks
Support cyber security risk management across ICT projects, digital initiatives, and BAU operations
Identify, assess, and communicate cyber security risks across member-facing platforms, corporate systems, and operational environments
Support compliance and assurance activities aligned with security frameworks, contractual obligations, and privacy requirements
Conduct security risk assessments for new technologies, digital platforms, and business initiatives
Support third-party and supply-chain security assessments and follow through on remediation actions with stakeholders and vendors
Communicate cyber security risks, impacts, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Support the delivery of cyber security awareness programs and assist in developing training materials
Promote secure behaviors across the organization, including phishing awareness, password hygiene, and secure data handling
What You Need
Non-negotiables
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent practical experience
3–5+ years experience in cyber security operations, governance, risk, compliance, or third-party security
Strong understanding of cyber security principles, risk management, and security control frameworks
Experience working with managed service providers or outsourced security teams
Experience with audit, compliance, or assurance activities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a hybrid setup and shifting schedule environment
Preferred Skills/expertise
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, AZ-500, AZ-305, SC-200, SC-300
Experience with Microsoft security tools and Microsoft Purview
Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, ACSC Essential Eight, and privacy regulations
Experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS environments
Exposure to agile delivery environments
Strong stakeholder management across technical, legal, and business teams
Analytical mindset with ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
Continuous learning mindset in emerging cyber security and AI-driven security tools
