Role: Cybersecurity Analyst
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Location: Philippines - Makati
Schedule: Morning Shift
- Monitor security events, logs, and alerts, identifying potential threats
- Investigate security incidents: bot attacks, DDoS, and automated threats
- Respond to incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Perform root cause analysis and create detailed incident reports
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to remediate risks
- Manage and optimize security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Utilize proprietary tools and technologies to detect and mitigate bot activity
Qualification And Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent)
- 2+ years in cybersecurity: threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management
- Strong understanding of web application security and HTTP/HTTPS protocols
- Proficiency analyzing logs from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewall tools
- Experience with bot mitigation tools and techniques (CAPTCHA, rate limiting)
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent attention to detail
- Preferred: Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+
- Preferred: Experience with similar advanced bot mitigation solutions

- Bot mitigation tools (e.g., Kasada, Imperva, Cloudflare)
- Vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, Qualys)
- Penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit)
- Cloud security tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel)
- Scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible)
