As a Cyber Agentic SOC Lead Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining the security of client systems. Within our Cyber, Data & Tech Risk practice, you will focus on effectively responding to and mitigating cyber threats, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing secure systems to protect against future attacks. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and navigate increasingly complex situations. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions while embracing ambiguity and using these moments as opportunities for growth.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will leverage your skills to analyze and resolve security incidents, minimizing potential damage and enhancing the security posture of our clients. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations. Upholding professional and technical standards, you will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, contributing to the firm's overall business strategies and client solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Leading cybersecurity incident management efforts to identify, analyze, and resolve security incidents
  • Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate cyber threats and protect client systems and data
  • Utilizing cybersecurity frameworks and governance to enhance security measures and protocols
  • Conducting vulnerability assessments and managing remediation plans to minimize potential risks
  • Collaborating with clients to build meaningful connections and understand their cybersecurity needs
  • Applying analytical thinking and critical problem-solving skills to navigate complex security challenges
  • Overseeing the operation of Security Operations Center (SOC) activities to maintain system integrity
  • Engaging in digital forensics and network forensics to investigate and respond to security breaches
  • Utilizing threat detection and cyber threat intelligence to proactively address potential vulnerabilities
  • Mentoring junior team members and fostering a collaborative environment for continuous learning and growth

What You Must Have

  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 4 to 8 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

  • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Studies, Computer and Information Science, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
  • At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to incident response and cyber defense, including GIAC (eg., GCFA, GCIA, GCIH) or equivalent incident response credentials
  • Utilizing cybersecurity frameworks and strategies to enhance threat mitigation
  • Demonstrating proficiency in digital forensics and forensic investigation techniques
  • Excelling in network security platforms and firewall management
  • Analyzing complex data to inform cybersecurity insights and recommendations
  • Navigating ambiguity while building meaningful client relationships and managing others
