Your Task:

.Ensure timely and accurate preparation, validation, and submission of import, export, and transshipment customs declarations.

.Ensure compliance with customs regulations, tax laws, and DHL operational standards.

.Review shipment documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.

.Obtain necessary duty and tax approvals before customs declaration submission.

.Liaise with customs authorities and regulatory agencies to resolve clearance issues, disputes, and inquiries.

.Prioritize shipment clearance activities to achieve service targets and minimize delays.

.Provide customs-related advice and support to customers and internal stakeholders.

.Maintain accurate customer, shipment, tariff, and commodity classification records.

.Support customs audits, compliance programs, and Trade Security Program (TSP) requirements.

.Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as COA, BOS, and shipments pending over 72 hours.

What you bring:

.Bachelor's Degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

.Licensed Customs Broker (where required by country regulations).

.Experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, logistics, or international trade operations preferred.

.2-3 years of experience in customs clearance and international freight/logistics environments.

.Reviews customs requirements, shipment details, and documentation accurately to ensure compliance.

.Prioritizes shipments and manages deadlines to meet clearance targets.

.Makes sound customs-related decisions while minimizing compliance risks.

.Achieves operational KPIs, clearance timelines, and customer service standards.

.Collaborates effectively with customers, customs authorities, and internal departments.

.Takes ownership of customs declarations and ensures regulatory compliance.

.Clearly communicates customs requirements and clearance updates to stakeholders.

.Performs effectively under pressure and manages multiple priorities.
