CUSTOMS ANALYST, GLOBAL TRADE COMPLIANCE
As Global Trade Compliance Customs Analyst, you will help the business understand and navigate applicable trade laws and regulations in APAC and other regions. The ideal candidate will have worked with multinational organizations and have experience with trade compliance related matters on imports and exports.
Responsibilities
CUSTOMS ANALYST, GLOBAL TRADE COMPLIANCE
As Global Trade Compliance Customs Analyst, you will help the business understand and navigate applicable trade laws and regulations in APAC and other regions. The ideal candidate will have worked with multinational organizations and have experience with trade compliance related matters on imports and exports.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day trade operations by working with customs brokers for timely and accurate customs clearance
- Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders on import and export shipment statuses
- Maintain applicable trade documentation according to local regulatory requirements
- Draft and maintain trade compliance Standard Operating Procedures
- Obtain import and export data from providers and the government, where applicable, to support import tax reclamations and duty mitigation opportunities
- Assist in monitoring and interpreting international trade regulations and laws regarding the telecommunication industry
- Assist in conducting internal audits to identify compliance gaps and participate in broker evaluations
- Other assignments and ad hoc projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain management, and/or international trade
- 1+ years of experience with international trade compliance matters
- Additional Asian language proficiency
- Prior international assignments or projects
- Knowledge of aerospace and/or telecommunications industry
- Data analytics and systemic skills, including experience with Power BI, advanced excel and tools such as SQL, Python or similar
- Experience working with cross-functional global teams and external government agencies
- We will be prioritizing applicants who have the current right to work in Singapore.
- This is an onsite position based in Singapore. Remote or hybrid work will not be considered.
