- Commercial Expertise:
- Apply a deep understanding of commercial concepts, including Incoterms, lead times, and cancellation policies.
- Manage backlog reports and interface with internal and external stakeholders on CRD (Customer Request Date), CSD (Confirmed Ship Date), pull-ins, push-outs, and RMAs.
- Distribution & Partner Support:
- Coordinate communication between sales, supply chain, and customers.
- Data & Compliance Stewardship:
- Set up new customer accounts with Finance and maintain the Customer Master Data within the ERP.
- Record and retain sales order data to satisfy strict audit requirements and contract compliance.
- Logistics & Fulfillment Support:
- Collaborate with planning, sales, and warehouse teams to drive order fulfillment.
- Process and coordinate sample requests, including physical packaging and shipping to customers when necessary.
- Proactive Communication: Timely processing of order acknowledgments and various customer-facing communications to maintain high service levels.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics (KSAO's)
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication in English. Must be able to explain complex supply chain situations or technical constraints to non-technical partners.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Word.
- Hands-on experience navigating ERP systems to handle everything from initial order entry through to final delivery. You should be comfortable managing customer accounts within the system, pulling reports to track backlogs, and using the software to troubleshoot shipment or pricing discrepancies.
- Logistics & Shipping: Solid understanding of Incoterms (e.g., EXW, FCA, DDP) and how they impact shipping responsibilities and costs. Familiar with global shipment and logistics workflows.
Required Qualifications
