We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Customer Service Executive to support and manage end-to-end air freight reservation operations. The role involves close coordination with stakeholders, airlines, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective shipment handling. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, as training will be provided.
Operation Hours: 5.5 days work week
- 0900 - 1800 Mondays -Fridays
- 0900 - 1200 Saturdays (Alternate upon confirmation)

Job Descriptions:
- Booking & Space Reservation, arrange and secure cargo space with airlines, co-loaders
- Monitor carrier schedules and capacity availability to ensure timely shipment departures.
- Negotiate and obtain competitive freight rates from carriers and co-loading partners. Confirm bookings and communicate flight details to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Customer Service & Shipment Coordination and respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding shipment schedules, booking status, transit times, and service options.
- Provide customers with shipment updates, delays, schedule changes, and operational advisories. Resolving shipment discrepancies, delays, offloads, and service issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers through proactive communication and problem resolution.
- Documentation & System Management, verify booking information, shipping instructions, and cargo details for accuracy.
- Prepare and update booking records in the freight management system.
- Ensure all shipment data, rates, and operational information are accurately recorded and maintained.
- Coordinate documentation requirements with customers, carriers, and overseas agents.
- Carrier & Vendor Management. Liaise closely with airlines, co-loaders, and internal team regarding space allocation and shipment movements.
- Monitor carrier performance and identify alternative routing solutions when required.
- Ensure adherence to export regulations, compliance requirements, and airline policies.
- Prepare billing, costing, and job closure documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support operational improvements and carry out ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Preferred individuals with experience using Sysfreight or Cargowise.
- Prior experience in air freight (operations/customer service role) is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with air freight processes, compliance and procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and freight management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
