Customer Relationship Management Specialist

As a Hubspot Engineer, you will:

• Liaise with business owners/specialists, operations and sales to define Hubspot solutions
• Utilize proven engineering experience in new solution design, build and launch
• Participate workshops in collaboration with business analysts, service designers and product owners to define solutions
• Be responsible to lead the development for the company
• Design high level information models and formulate Hubspot API designs
• Sprint planning in collaboration with business analysts and product owners

Main focus areas

Hubspot Software Development

· Iteratively plan, develop and deploy Hubspot configuration/workflows etc.

· Regularly showcase development status to stakeholders and get feedback.

· Seek to continually improve development process via retrospectives.

· Write clean, highly tested, maintainable configuration/code that adheres to industry standards.

· Perform regular peer code reviews.

· Actively monitor and control technical debt.

· Escalate technical risks when appropriate.

· Be available to respond to production incidents (on a rotation basis).

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

· Collaborate with team members to design and implement features.

· Mentor team members to promote engineering excellence.

· Collaborate with external stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure overall successful delivery of the project.

Health, Safety & Wellbeing

· Ensure a safe workplace is maintained and that Health, Safety and Environment issues are pro-actively managed according to company policy and process

· Promote understanding of safe work practices and assist with incident/accident investigations

Role specific capabilities

Essential:

· Extensive Hubspot experience

· Microservices / API design

· Version control (Git), CI / CD tools and pipelines

· Issue tracking / ticketing tools (JIRA or similar)

· Experience delivering highly scalable, loosely coupled, distributed systems

· Experience working in Agile environments

· Strong written and verbal communication

Desirable:

· DevOps experience

· Serverless Framework (or similar tools)
