As we expand rapidly into enterprise fleets, we are investing in a new function that accelerates activation, onboarding, and adoption for high-intent and newly signed fleet customers.

Job Role

The Customer Onboarding Specialist/Enterprise Activation Specialist is responsible for ensuring newly acquired or high-intent fleet accounts become fully activated, technically set up, and positioned for immediate success on the Trucker Path platform. This role blends outbound activation calling, hands-on onboarding, and light sales engineering to guide fleets through account setup, driver deployment, and early-stage product adoption. This is laser-focused on the first 3090 days of the customer lifecycle, helping fleets reach time to value as quickly as possible. You will own the activation funnel, ensuring fleet admins and drivers are fully onboarded, trained, and actively using key features like Truck-Safe Navigation, Driver Education, and Fleet Management Workflows.

What will you do

Activations

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calling, texting, and email follow-up to engage with newly signed fleets or high-intent prospects.
  • Convert referred, inbound, or marketing-qualified leads into fully activated accounts.
  • Drive completion of onboarding milestones (e.g., account creation, fleet setup, driver import).
  • Track and optimize activation rates, time-to-value metrics, and onboarding funnel conversion
  • Deliver structured onboarding sessions (1:1 or group) for small and mid-size fleets.
  • Walk customers through platform setup including roles, driver management, routing features, and administrative controls.
  • Configure accounts and assist with technical setup (driver invites, integrations, device setups, navigation configurations).
  • Provide product guidance and best practices tailored to fleet size and operational workflow.

Sales Engineering Support

  • Partner with Enterprise Sales to assist with technical validation, pilot setup, and product demonstrations.
  • Act as a technical resource for prospects during the late stage buying process.
  • Translate fleet operational needs into recommended product workflows.
  • Host activation webinars, onboarding classes, and quick-start clinics.
  • Provide short-term tactical support during activation
  • Escalate complex support issues to the Support or Engineering teams when needed.

What are we looking for

Experience & Skills

  • 13 years in onboarding, account activation, implementation, or high-volume customer engagement.
  • Experience in fleet technology, trucking SaaS, logistics, or transportation operations is a strong plus.
  • Strong phone-based communication skills with the ability to drive urgency, coach customers, and move accounts toward activation.
  • Ability to translate customer operational workflows into product configurations and technical setups.
  • Comfortable delivering virtual training, demos, or walkthroughs.
  • Fast learners with the ability to master technical product details and teach them to customers.
  • Organized, metric-driven, and capable of managing a high volume of activation tasks.
  • Proficient with CRMs, onboarding tools, and SaaS platforms.
