DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer inquiries about life insurance policies, premiums, and coverage.
- Explain policy terms, exclusions, and benefits in clear language.
- Assist with billing questions and payment processing.
- Process policy changes (beneficiary updates, coverage adjustments, cancellations).
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
- Handle initial intake of life insurance claims.
- Gather essential details and forward to claims specialists.
- Notify policyholders of claim outcomes or required follow-ups.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
- Escalate complex issues to underwriting or claims departments.
- Ensure timely and professional resolution to maintain trust.
- Support customer retention by fostering long-term relationships.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of bachelor's degree in allied sciences, or business courses.
- Prior customer service in a life insurance industry experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex life insurance concepts simply.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Proficiency with databases and call management systems.
- Calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
