Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Independently manage assigned key account with minimal supervision
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key influencers of assigned account/branches
  • Establish effective collaboration with internal stakeholders (Business Units, Marketing, and support teams)
  • Sales Delivery & Financial Accountability
  • Drive achievement of channel targets: 100% delivery of sales targets across assigned areas/branches and business units
  • Ensure efficient spend of trade investments in area of responsibility, within agreed ROI
  • Account Execution & Business Growth
  • Lead monthly account/branch engagement to drive sell-in and execution of:
    • Category initiatives, trade programs, and promotions
    • New product launches and pipeline initiatives
    • Pricing updates, delivery schedules, and company policies
  • Monitor and manage:
    • Inventory levels, stock availability, and offtake performance
    • Execution and evaluation of in-store programs, on time and in full
  • Identify growth opportunities and address gaps in availability, presence and execution: drive win in-store for Unilab products vs competition
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement
  • Partner with Business Units and Marketing Divisions to:
    • Align on brand initiatives, promotions, pipeline products, and pricing changes
    • Resolve brand, operational, and account/branch-related issues
    • Coordinate support for trade activities (e.g., display rentals, promo requirements)
  • Provide timely and accurate account/branch insights, including:
    • Offtake, inventory, and delivery performance
    • Inputs to sales forecasts and planning (via Mercury Stock Transfer)
  • Competitor activities
  • Feedback on account policies, guidelines, and compliance
  • TPA Coordination & Capability Building
  • Work closely with TPA Operations Managers to ensure:
    • Delivery of expected output from third-party branch merchandisers
    • Strong execution of trade and merchandising programs across branches
  • Support capability development by:
    • Providing training inputs and enabling materials for field teams
    • Developing data-driven, persuasive selling tools for use in account engagement
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any four-year course.
  • At least 3–6 years of relevant work experience in Key Account Management.
  • Experience in managing Mercury Drug branches is a strong advantage.
  • Strong skills in Key Account Management, Negotiation, Influencing, and Business Presentations.
  • Currently based in North Mindanao, preferably in Cagayan do Oro, or has significant work experience in the region.
  • Demonstrates strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills
