Customer and Market Insights Manager

About The Job

The Customer & Market Insights Manager steers a talented team of researchers to delve into opportunity areas for the business. He/she must have an innate curiosity for people and passion to learn the business to be able to identify key areas of study – and deliver high quality and actionable insights for business growth.

What You'll Do

• Identify key areas of interest for the business and propose the research agenda.
• May lead a team of Market Researchers & Strategists in developing research programs to gain market & customer insights.
• Works with the team in preparation of reports and final analysis and recommendations that are relevant and of high quality.
• Work with internal stakeholders or select external research firms to support the research requirements of the business.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry and customer trends and maintain a comprehensive view on competitor activities.
• Recommend studies, tools, or technology that may help augment understanding of the business and customers.
• Develop a framework and process for working with internal stakeholders.
• Introduction and implementation of process improvement projects under Market Research involving other functional units within the organization.
• Mentor and motivate other members of the team.

What You Need To Have

• With at least 10 years overall hands-on experience within customer insighting, business consulting, or market research firms.
• 5–10 years of proven track record personally leading and executing complex research studies (qualitative and quantitative).
• Lead end-to-end quantitative and qualitative research studies, translating complex data into actionable business opportunities without needing a team of direct reports to execute.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis across diverse intelligence streams (including Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and social listening) to spot critical market gaps and revenue drivers.
• Serve as an expert strategic partner across departments, leveraging strong communication skills to drive consensus and rally support from key stakeholders.
• Take end-to-end personal accountability for project rigor, report quality, and analytical accuracy.
• Exceptional analytical capability with a demonstrated history of extracting high-value business insights from dense data.
• Has experience in social listening tools and/or Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to collaborate seamlessly in matrixed environments.
• Outstanding attention to detail and self-driven project ownership.
