Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, coding, and improving software components tailored to meet specific business requirements. The role includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable and efficient, while applying modern development methodologies to maintain high performance and adaptability within evolving project demands. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster continuous improvement. - Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align software development with organizational goals. - Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Strong understanding of database design principles and optimization techniques. - Experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. - Familiarity with performance tuning and debugging of database applications. - Ability to integrate PLSQL solutions with other software components and services. - Knowledge of version control systems and collaborative development workflows. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - This position is based at our Manila office.
