Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will spend your day developing tailored software solutions that enhance and extend various system components or applications. Your work will involve collaborating with team members to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software, utilizing contemporary development frameworks and methodologies. You will engage in continuous improvement of software products to meet evolving business requirements and contribute to a dynamic and innovative work environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions. - Maintain and improve existing software applications to enhance performance and user experience. - Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations to support knowledge sharing. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues in a timely manner. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Application Modernization. - Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and modern programming paradigms. - Experience with cloud-native technologies and microservices architecture. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Proficient in refactoring legacy systems to improve maintainability and scalability. - Ability to work with various databases and integration techniques to support modernized applications. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Application Modernization. - This position is based at our Manila office.
