Job Description
Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
Required JD: Payment Engineers L2/L3 (Dev and Production Support) Domain knowledge on payment flows especially EU payments Technical skills: Java, Cobol, Git, Postman, Dbweaver/SQL, Dynatrace (monitoring tool), Eclipse, IntelliJ/Visual Studio Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, coding, and improving software components tailored to meet unique business requirements. The role includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient solutions. The work environment encourages the use of modern development practices and frameworks to maintain high performance and adaptability across systems and applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members to achieve project goals. - Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements. - Mentor and guide team members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in COBOL. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Payments Fundamentals, Banking. - Strong understanding of legacy system integration and maintenance. - Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies including agile practices. - Ability to analyze and optimize code for performance and scalability. - Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in COBOL. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
