Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will spend your day designing, coding, and improving software components tailored to meet unique business requirements. Your work involves collaborating with team members to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient solutions. You will engage in continuous development activities, adapting to evolving project needs and contributing to the overall success of software initiatives within an agile environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions. - Maintain and enhance existing software systems to improve performance and reliability. - Document technical specifications and development processes to support knowledge sharing. - Continuously update skills and knowledge to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Japanese Language. - Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. - Experience with modern software development frameworks and tools. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration practices. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex software applications. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
