Job Summary

The Life Insurance Servicer is responsible for providing policy servicing support by acting as a third-party authorized representative on behalf of the policyowner. The role involves outbound and inbound communication with insurance carriers to obtain policy information, verify details, and request required documents while strictly adhering to compliance, authorization, and data privacy standards.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a third-party authorized caller on behalf of the policyowner when coordinating with insurance carriers.

Contact insurance companies to request and obtain policy information such as policy values, ownership and beneficiary details, policy status, premiums, and riders.

Request, follow up, and secure necessary policy documents, including annual statements, policy illustrations, in-force ledgers, and other required forms.

Ensure proper authorization (Third-Party Authorization or Power of Attorney) is verified before requesting or releasing information.

Accurately document all interactions, outcomes, and obtained details in internal systems and task management tools.

Manage assigned tasks and follow-ups to ensure timely completion.

Adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and data privacy standards.

Coordinate with internal teams and escalate issues as needed.

Maintain professionalism when communicating with insurance carrier representatives.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; college level preferred.

Experience in life insurance servicing, insurance operations, or BPO back-office support is an advantage.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with CRM or workflow tools is a plus.
