Role Description
The Crewing Staff (Flagstate) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
- Coordinating and preparing flag state documentation and certifications for Filipino seafarers
- Accurately encode and upload seafarer data, including personal information, certifications, sea service, medical records, and other essential documents, into the system
- Responsible for flag application (Liberia, Singapore, and Cyprus) for all Filipino seafarers in the BULK, TANKER, and LPG fleet
- Sending monthly report of Flag Monitoring
- Updating and Monitoring all Filipino flag applications (Liberia, Singapore, and Cyprus)
- Updating all Filipino files in shipmate before joining
- Scan and upload 201 files for all fleets after dispatch
- Editing social media advertisement and other essential needs for an event (T-shirt, ID lace, ID, Posters, Banners, etc.)
- Perform task that maybe assigned from time to time
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong administrative and documentation skills, including attention to detail, record management, and proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, email systems).
- Candidates should possess knowledge or experience related to maritime regulations, flag state requirements, and basic shipping or crewing operations.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams, principals, and seafarers in a professional manner.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines, and work accurately under pressure.
- Relevant education such as a bachelor's degree in maritime studies, business administration, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in manning, crewing, or shipping is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Ortigas, Pasig City on a full-time basis and willingness to learn and adapt to evolving maritime regulations and company procedures.
