Position: Credit Supervisor – Inventory Funding
Job Summary
Lead the Inventory Funding Credit team and oversee credit operations, ensuring efficient credit decisions, sound risk management, and strong portfolio quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise Credit Analysts, Credit Officers, and Field Inspectors.
- Oversee dealer credit evaluation, approvals, TAT, and credit quality.
- Assess creditworthiness, financial capacity, repayment ability, and overall risk.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies, approval limits, and risk parameters.
- Monitor portfolio performance, risks, exceptions, and delinquency trends.
- Recommend improvements to credit policies, guidelines, processes, and controls.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Collections, Finance, and Compliance to support business growth.
- Coach and develop the credit team while maintaining strong risk discipline.
- Drive process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–7 years of credit underwriting experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Experience in Inventory Funding, Floorplan, Auto/Dealer Financing, Business/Corporate, or Fleet Financing is preferred.
- Strong background in credit assessment, financial analysis, risk evaluation, and decision-making.
- Proven experience managing a credit team and improving credit policies/processes.
- Strong analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
