Job Description

Credit Risk Management team

Position Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Oversight & Stress Testing: Oversee bonds, commercial mortgages, and alternative investments through stress testing, scenario analysis, reporting, and presentation of results to senior management and governance committees.

  • Risk & Capital Impact Assessment: Conduct whatif, multifactor, and reverse stress tests to assess credit migration, losses, earnings, reserves, and capital impacts under stressed macroeconomic conditions.

  • Stakeholder Support & Tools Management: Perform adhoc stress test analysis for investment leaders and support the ongoing maintenance and data updates of stress testing tools.

  • Credit Analysis & Reviews: Contribute to crossdesk credit reviews, evaluate credit ratings, assess risk quality, identify emerging risks, and document findings in formal reports.

  • Adhoc Research & Market Risk Monitoring: Produce independent industry and credit research on topical issues while monitoring economic and market developments to identify emerging risks.

  • ALDA Performance Tracking: Support risk rating frameworks and prepare, maintain, and enhance performance and monitoring reports for Alternative Long Duration Assets.

  • Policies & Procedures: Assist in reviewing and updating investment policies, guidelines, and related procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in credit research or credit analysis in a financial institution.

  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Economics or Finance.

  • Excellent data analysis skills using large spreadsheets. Ability to summarize a large amount of data into concise reports and presentations for senior management.

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) applications.
