Our Corporate Credit team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Credit Review Officer.
In this role, you will provide independent assessments of the credit quality of the bank's corporate portfolio and evaluate credit risks arising from business and risk-taking units to support sound credit risk management. You will also conduct periodic Portfolio Quality Reviews (PQRs) and present findings, insights, and recommendations to the Board to support informed decision-making.

What the role will entail
- Conduct independent credit reviews and risk assessments of corporate accounts across Corporate Banking, Treasury, and Trust portfolios to evaluate credit quality and validate risk ratings.
- Monitor and assess impaired, watchlisted, and adversely classified accounts, including the review of past-due reports, cash flow analyses, and other credit risk indicators.
- Perform credit due diligence on proposals and counterparties, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of creditworthiness based on established credit risk principles and frameworks.
- Evaluate and accredit developers under the Bank's End-Buyer Financing Program and conduct credit assessments for local and foreign financial institution counterparties.
- Review and assess the overall quality, performance, and risk profile of the corporate banking portfolio, identifying emerging risks and recommending appropriate actions.
- Prepare Loan Committee minutes and review credit approval memoranda to ensure compliance with committee mandates, regulatory requirements, and internal credit policies.
- Support special projects, portfolio reviews, and other risk management initiatives as assigned by the Division Head.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in credit analysis, account management, or related financial services roles, with 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of credit, finance, accounting, and economic principles, with the ability to assess risk and make sound business recommendations.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at various levels.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, objective, and results-driven, with the ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
