About You & the Role
You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong understanding of credit risk, lending practices, and financial analysis. As a Credit Review Officer, you will help ensure that credit portfolios are managed in line with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and sound risk management principles. You will play a key role in identifying risks, recommending improvements, and supporting the Bank's overall credit quality and portfolio performance.
What You Will Be Doing
- Review and assess loan portfolios to evaluate credit quality, account management practices, and compliance with credit policies and regulations.
- Conduct field reviews and identify potential credit risks, policy gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare credit review reports and present findings, observations, and recommendations to management.
- Monitor and follow up on action plans related to credit review findings.
- Evaluate loan classifications and recommend appropriate risk ratings and provisioning in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Support credit risk management initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of credit review processes.
- Collaborate with business units, lending teams, and stakeholders on credit risk matters.
- Provide guidance and training on credit risk and review-related topics when needed.

- Credit reviews are completed accurately, objectively, and on schedule.
- Risks and emerging portfolio issues are identified early and escalated appropriately.
- Management receives timely, actionable insights that strengthen credit decision-making.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in credit risk, credit review, credit administration, account management, loans operations, internal audit, or related functions within a financial institution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different business units and levels of the organization.
