Philippine Business Bank - Trust and Investment Group is looking to fill the role of Credit Research Officer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in MAKATI CITY. The Credit Research Analyst will be responsible for analyzing investment portfolios, assessing investment opportunities, managing finance-related tasks, and supporting portfolio management activities. The role involves performing financial analysis, risk assessment, and preparing detailed reports to support decision-making regarding credit and investment portfolios. Effective communication with stakeholders will be essential for the dissemination of findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience covering and evaluating Top-Tier Local Companies (TTLCs), with a strong understanding of domestic market dynamics and blue-chip performance
• Must have experience in analyzing corporate bonds, equities, and/or government securities
• Strong Analytical Skills and ability to perform detailed financial analysis
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
• Above - average expertise in financial spread
• Persuasive presentation skills
• Skillful research and business writing skills
• Strong fundamental analysis skills
• Robust understanding of various types of investment risks and/or risk frameworks.
• 3 to 5 years relevant work experience
