Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Oversee the comprehensive review of credit proposals submitted by Lending Units, utilizing financial analysis, credit assessment tools, and supporting documentation to determine borrower viability and risk exposure
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of credit evaluations for new accounts, renewals, and other credit-related requests
  • Validate credit risk ratings and account classifications, ensuring adherence to internal credit standards, documentation guidelines, and banking policies
  • Actively manage and monitor the assigned loan portfolio, identifying early warning signals and initiating appropriate escalation or remedial actions for accounts with deteriorating performance
  • Lead, coach, and monitor the performance of the credit review team against agreed key result areas (KRAs)
  • Work closely with Human Resources to support workforce planning, talent development, and structured career progression for team members
  • Ensure readiness and compliance with the Bank's Business Continuity and operational resilience requirements
  • Manage and coordinate credit-related audit activities, working with internal audit, compliance, and other relevant units to ensure timely resolution of findings
  • Collaborate with Credit Administration, Credit Control and Documentation, Credit Investigation and Appraisal, Legal, and other support units to ensure proper approvals, complete documentation, and mitigation of policy or collateral exceptions
  • Perform supervisory and administrative responsibilities and undertake additional credit-related functions as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar field
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in credit risk or credit evaluation, with strong exposure to commercial and corporate lending
  • Proven people management or team leadership experience
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines, and make sound credit judgments

Work Location: Naga City, Camarines Sur

Work Setup: Full Onsite
