About The Role

The Credit Investigator Team Leader is responsible to oversees the business operations and administrative activities of the unit which include credit investigation (tele/field) & outsourced activities for retail products of the bank; all the while ensuring quality output, sound judgment, adherence to policy and service delivery within the agreed turnaround time.

How you'll contribute

  • Adheres to the following in the performance of the assigned tasks: Bank's Policies & Procedures, Bank's Organization Thrusts and Top Management's EXCOM /BOD directives.
  • Executes the Credit Operations Manual and Credit Investigation Operations Manual in the performance of assigned tasks.
  • Assists the Credit Processing Head in ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements and that controls are in place in delivering credit functions
  • Supports the Credit Processing Head in complying with the Service Level Agreement and Turn-Around-Time.
  • Develops and executes strategies for efficient and accurate credit investigations.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as underwriting and Risks to ensure credit investigation processes are aligned with existing policies.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of credit investigation reports.
  • Mentors and develops team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

What we're looking for

  • 3 to 5 years and up relevant work experience and as a people manager
  • Good oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficient
  • Flexible, innovative, and can easily establish good rapport
