The Credit Cards Product Manager is responsible for managing specific credit card product clusters and customer segment portfolios to drive growth in BPI's Credit Cards business. The role oversees the product lifecycle, defines product vision, and collaborates with technology, sales, marketing, and analytics teams to achieve revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets while ensuring alignment with the bank's overall strategy.
Responsibilities
- Drives execution of assigned product programs, campaigns, and initiatives in line with portfolio strategy
- Defines product cluster or customer segment portfolio strategy and develops product features to strengthen market preference
- Understands customer needs, identifies market trends, and analyses competitive activity
- Develops positioning, features, and messaging for assigned customer segments
- Develops program plans, timelines, and workstreams, tracking milestones and deliverables
- Coordinates with internal and external partners to evaluate opportunities and partnerships
- Owns day-to-day management and continuous improvement of program features and functionalities
- Ensures consistent delivery of customer value proposition and objectives
- Monitors customer behavior and competitor offerings to recommend enhancements
- Plans product programs to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Provides forecasts, budgets, and pricing to meet financial goals
- Identifies opportunities for product improvements and drives new product development and launches
- Translates business requirements into user stories, process flows, and customer journeys
- Coordinates with Technology, Operations, Marketing, and partners during development and roll-out
- Conducts UAT, tracks issues, and ensures readiness prior to launch
- Prepares documentation such as business cases, approvals, and post-implementation reports
- Prepares program updates, reviews, and presentations for senior stakeholders
- Ensures compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk controls
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Analytics, and Operations to deliver objectives
- Serves as central point of coordination across business units and external partners to ensure aligned execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field
- At least 2–4 years of experience in product development, loyalty, or rewards
- Knowledge in marketing management, product management, finance, data analysis, and project management
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong skills in decision making, analysis, negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and creative/media proficiency
