CREDIT ASSOCIATE (RETAIL CREDIT)

Position description: This position is primarily responsible for evaluating and rendering credit decision for retail loans while adhering to the Bank's credit guidelines and policies within the committed turn-around time.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conducts complete screening, income verification, residence verification and encodes all information gathered for applications auto approved by the system or under lending programs
• Analyzes, reviews and evaluates proposals recommended by the credit staff to determine the credit worthiness of loan applicants.
• Renders credit decision on retail loan applications within his/her authority and recommends to higher level authorities if beyond his/her authority.
• Supervises the performance of Credit Staff under his/her supervision to ensure that goals are met.
• Handles Sales inquiries and concerns and escalates to the Unit Head when necessary to support the business targets.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management/Finance/Accountancy/Banking equivalent
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
• Knowledgeable in credit and lending, operations, credit policies, risk management and corporate banking products and services.
• Knowledgeable in regulatory standards, compliance guidelines, and other bank products, processes and policies.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
