Role Description The Credit and Collection Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Calamba. This position oversees the credit evaluation process, sets credit limits, and monitors customer accounts to minimize financial risk while supporting business growth. Daily responsibilities include managing collection activities, following up on outstanding receivables, negotiating payment arrangements, and ensuring timely resolution of overdue accounts. The role also involves preparing credit and collection reports, analyzing customer payment trends, coordinating with internal teams such as sales and finance, and implementing policies to improve cash flow and reduce bad debt. The manager is expected to maintain accurate documentation, support audits, and ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong credit management capabilities, including experience in assessing creditworthiness and setting appropriate credit limits.
- Proficient analytical skills for interpreting financial data, assessing risk, and preparing meaningful management reports.
- Hands-on experience in debt collection and collections management, including follow-ups, negotiations, and dispute resolution.
- Solid foundation in finance, with the ability to understand financial statements and their impact on credit decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or related industries is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
