With a highly engaged and innovative team, we don't just optimize processes, we also create meaningful change.

Role Overview

We are looking for an analyst to join our Credit investment team, supporting the underwriting, ongoing monitoring, and valuation of portfolio company investments across our Credit funds. This role will work closely with deal teams and the Valuation group, covering a dedicated portfolio of positions from initial onboarding through exit, while also contributing to the firm's quarterly valuation process across both Private Equity and Credit. This is a highly analytical role, well suited to someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with financial modeling, and able to synthesize credit and legal documentation into clear, well-supported conclusions.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Monitoring & Credit Analysis

  • Develop and maintain robust financial models incorporating capital structure, key performance metrics, and credit ratio analysis for assigned portfolio companies.
  • Review underwriting materials — investment memos, credit agreements, and other key diligence items — to understand the business, the structure of the loan/investment, and the investment thesis, including strengths, weaknesses, threats, and mitigants.
  • Review and interpret relevant legal documentation, including credit agreements and intercreditor agreements.
  • Monitor ongoing financial performance and material events impacting portfolio companies, accessing portfolio company data sites to retrieve reported information.
  • Update Excel models with the latest financial performance following each reporting period (monthly or quarterly) and prepare written summaries following each period.
  • Provide regular updates to senior Analysts on the status of each allocated portfolio company.
  • Track relevant industry trends and competitor performance, including maintaining comparable company analyses.
  • Assist in analyzing and evaluating amendments and incremental financing opportunities for portfolio companies.
  • Participate in periodic internal portfolio review meetings and discussions.
  • Onboard new deals, ensuring proper integration with the firm's technology stack (Power BI, Chronograph, etc.), and use credit agreements and investment committee memos to establish and track key entry metrics.
  • Manage the timely collection of borrower financial packages and compliance certificates, ensuring an up-to-date view is maintained on an ongoing basis.
  • Own key reporting deliverables for investor requests, maintaining both deal-closing and current metrics.

Valuation

  • Roll forward valuation models each quarter using standard methodologies — discounted cash flow, trading comparables, and transaction comparables.
  • Prepare materials for the valuation committee.
  • Prepare unaudited and audited valuation back-testing across Private Equity and Credit portfolios.
  • Review relevant market data to support valuation conclusions.
  • Prepare valuation memos and supporting materials for third-party valuation providers.
  • Review draft deliverables prepared by third-party valuation providers.

Job Requirements and Credentials:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in credit, private credit, investment banking, or private equity, with experience in stock market pricing and valuation.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including comfort building and maintaining complex, formula-driven financial models; familiarity with Power BI and Chronograph is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of credit and capital structure concepts (leverage multiples, coverage ratios, covenants) and standard valuation methodologies (DCF, trading and transaction comparables).
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize legal and financial documentation into clear investment and valuation conclusions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment, given the confidential and investor-facing nature of the work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce clear write-ups and memos and to collaborate effectively with deal teams, the Valuation group, and Investor Relations.
  • Ability to manage multiple portfolio companies and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Details:

  • Night Shift: Night Shift (99PM-6AM)
  • Work Setup: Hybrid (2-4x a month/ once a week)
  • Office Address: 9/F SCMC Mall of Asia Arena Annex (MAAX) Building, Pasay, 1300
