About the Role

We are looking for a Credit Analyst to support credit assessment, portfolio monitoring, valuation, and investment analysis activities.

This role is ideal for an analytical finance professional who has experience evaluating investment and credit opportunities, reviewing underwriting materials, monitoring portfolios, and assessing the financial strength and credit profile of companies and investments.

You will apply valuation methodologies, credit ratio analysis, and financial analysis to assess investment opportunities and support informed credit and investment decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct detailed credit and financial analysis of companies, borrowers, and investment opportunities.
  • Perform credit ratio analysis to assess financial strength, leverage, liquidity, profitability, cash flow, and debt servicing capacity.
  • Support valuation analysis using appropriate valuation methodologies.
  • Apply valuation approaches including:
  • Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)
  • Trading Comparables
  • Transaction Comparables
  • Monitor investment and credit portfolios, identifying key financial, operational, and credit developments.
  • Review and analyze underwriting materials, including investment memoranda, credit agreements, and other key due diligence documentation.
  • Evaluate financial and business information to identify key credit risks, investment considerations, and potential areas of concern.
  • Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and review changes in financial performance, leverage, liquidity, and other relevant credit metrics.
  • Analyze financial information and supporting documentation to assess the creditworthiness and investment profile of companies and transactions.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather information, validate analysis, and support investment and credit-related decisions.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support investment, credit, valuation, and portfolio management activities.
  • Present analytical findings clearly and concisely to relevant stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in credit analysis, investment analysis, valuation, portfolio monitoring, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with valuation.
  • Experience with portfolio monitoring.
  • Experience using at least one or more of the following valuation methodologies:
  • Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)
  • Trading Comparables
  • Transaction Comparables
  • Experience reviewing underwriting materials, including:
  • Investment memoranda
  • Credit agreements
  • Due diligence documents
  • Financial and supporting documentation
  • Strong experience in Credit Ratio Analysis.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial information and translate analysis into meaningful credit and investment insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with financial modeling.
  • Experience with pricing and valuation of stocks, bonds, or other marketable securities.
  • Experience in Private Credit.
  • Experience with private-market investments.
  • Exposure to investment management, alternative investments, credit funds, or similar investment environments.
