About the Role
As a Credit Analyst/Financial Analyst, you will evaluate an assigned company/account according to the inherent risks and opportunities that the Company may be able to undertake. Recommends the appropriate facilities and level of business that SBM Leasing, Inc (SBML). may be able to undertake with the said Entity.
How you'll contribute
- Conducts financial evaluation and prepares re-casted financial statements as needed for a more thorough evaluation of the accounts.
- Prepares financial analysis and projection that reflects the requirements of the company/account and justification for the credit structure
- Gathers data and prepares comprehensive analyses and reports based on the submitted client documents and data for submission to Sales Team
- Gathers data and prepares comprehensive analyses and reports based on the submitted client documents and data for submission to Sales Team
- Recommends credit facilities appropriate for the business requirements and SBML's risk appetite to align the facility to industry/bank standards
- Recommends the appropriate security level, loan terms, and condition, and the like
- Monitors industry/market trends to determine performance of companies to ensure data-driven recommendations based on market conditions
- Features benchmarking of the industry and credit facilities against internal clients and other like industries; and other banks, respectively
- Ensures timely recognition of deterioration of risk and recommending or taking appropriate actions to re-classify accounts as needed
- Prepares client scorecards that will determine its risk rating and appropriate pricing/ line amounts/security to ensure the comprehensive assessment of the account
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, and/or Finance/Accountancy/Banking
- With at least 3 to 4 years of experience in Credit risk evaluation, leasing business, and financial statement evaluation
- With strong analytical,critical thinking, and numerical reasoning skills
