As a Credit Analyst (AU Mortgage), you will support the end-to-end credit application process by reviewing submissions, validating documentation, coordinating with customers and suppliers, and ensuring applications meet lending requirements. The Qualifications We Seek

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, lending support, mortgage processing, finance administration, or a related field
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Comfortable working in an office-based environment

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience working with an Australian company
  • Experience within consumer finance, lending, mortgage, or credit-related environments
  • Familiarity with funder portals and lending systems
  • Experience reviewing credit reports, payslips, bank statements, and financial documents
  • Experience using illion bank statements or similar financial verification tools

Your Daily Tasks

Credit Application Review and Processing

  • Review new credit submissions against established application checklists
  • Identify missing information or documentation required before applications can proceed to the credit team
  • Process and collate documentation required to settle applications
  • Prepare loan documents for settlements
  • Receive approval advice from funders and update internal systems accordingly
  • Communicate approvals to stakeholders and contact customers regarding application outcomes

Supplier Accreditation and Documentation Review

  • Review new supplier requests against accreditation requirements
  • Identify missing documentation needed to proceed with supplier onboarding
  • Review supplier tax invoices against established checklists
  • Identify errors, discrepancies, or missing information and coordinate with suppliers to obtain requirements

Customer Service and Stakeholder Support

  • Respond to customer email inquiries and ad hoc service requests
  • Assist customers with payment detail updates, payout figure requests, and other account-related concerns
  • Handle inbound customer and stakeholder calls as required
  • Conduct outbound calls to customers and suppliers to gather information, provide updates, and resolve outstanding requirements

Administrative and Sales Support

  • Provide general administrative and sales support functions
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation across internal systems
  • Support the broader team in ensuring efficient workflow and customer service delivery

Future Growth Opportunity: Junior Credit Analyst Pathway

  • Review credit reports, payslips, bank statements, tax returns, and financial information against lender requirements
  • Gather and verify customer financial information
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders throughout the credit application process
  • Assist with funder selection and application submission processes
  • Develop deeper expertise in lending assessments and credit analysis
