Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Credit & Collection Supervisor based in Pasig. The Credit & Collection Supervisor will oversee the credit and collections department, ensuring accurate and efficient management of receivables. Responsibilities include implementing credit policies, evaluating customer creditworthiness, managing debt collection processes, and analyzing financial data. The role also involves supervising a team, providing guidance, and collaborating with customers to ensure excellent service and satisfaction.

Duties:

·      Review of CCD Policies and Controls

·      Ensure correct implementation and compliance of the CCD Policies

·      Review Weekly Aging of Receivables with the team

·      Review Daily COD Report

·      Follow up pending items with the related departments (OPS, Sales, Accounting)

·      Recommend disposition of long overdue accounts

·      Initiate meeting with top or delinquent customers

·      Supervise AR Assistants on issues encountered due to delayed payments or variances

·      Liaise with Collectors and Collection Agencies on Collection issues

·      Recommend new procedures or CCD structure to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the team

·      Review and recommend Credit Limit and Credit terms based on account performance

·      Raise CCD/ AR concerns to Finance Manager

·      Perform other jobs assigned by Finance Manager

Qualifications

  • Strong Supervisory Skills with experience in team leadership and providing guidance
  • Expertise in Credit Management and Debt Collection processes
  • Proficient Analytical Skills for assessing creditworthiness and analyzing financial data
  • Excellent Customer Service skills for building and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to credit and collections
  • Experience in the food distribution or retail industry is a plus
