Credentialing & Authorization Specialist (ABA)

What You'll Own

You will be the person who makes sure providers are credentialed, services are authorized, and nothing falls through the cracks.

• Manage the full credentialing process from start to finish
• Verify patient insurance benefits accurately and quickly
• Secure prior authorizations for ABA services
• Handle out-of-network billing when needed
• Communicate directly with insurance reps to resolve issues
• Track and maintain clean, accurate records
• Follow up on pending applications and approvals
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements
• Work closely with internal teams to keep onboarding smooth

What You Bring

• Strong experience in ABA credentialing, VOB, and authorizations
• Deep understanding of insurance workflows and payer requirements
• Experience working directly with insurance companies (calls + follow-ups)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks without losing attention to detail
• Clear, professional communication

Bonus:

• Experience with out-of-network billing
• Familiarity with insurance processes in Indiana and New Jersey
