We're Hiring: Creative Strategist

Location: Philippines (Remote)

Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible with US Team Collaboration Hours

Salary: $2500 - $4500 / month (based on experience)

About This Role

We're looking for a Creative Strategist to own the messaging and creative concepts behind our marketing — the angles, hooks, narratives, and direct-response creative that drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.

Working closely with the founders and Growth Marketing Manager, you'll concept and write the ads, scripts, and landing page copy that move people. This is a high-ownership individual contributor role for a genuine craftsperson — someone who lives and breathes customer psychology, direct-response, and the art of getting attention and holding it. You'll define what we say, why it resonates, and how the message evolves across audiences and stages of awareness.

What You'll Do

  • Develop messaging frameworks, creative angles, and hooks tailored to different customer awareness and sophistication levels
  • Concept and write direct-response creative for video ads, VSLs, social content, and other performance marketing assets — from the hook to the close
  • Own landing page messaging, narrative structure, value propositions, proof elements, and CTA strategy
  • Map messaging to funnel stages and audience segments, from cold traffic to high-intent prospects
  • Conduct customer, market, and competitor research to uncover insights, objections, and high-converting messaging opportunities
  • Partner with the Growth Marketing Manager on what to test next, and refine creative based on what's resonating with audiences
  • Build and maintain messaging frameworks, swipe files, angle libraries, and creative playbooks for ongoing campaigns
  • Collaborate with designers and marketers to bring concepts to life and keep creative aligned with the message

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Direct Response Marketing, Creative Strategy, Performance Creative, Conversion Copywriting, or a related role
  • Proven track record developing high-performing ad creative, scripts, and landing pages
  • Deep, working command of direct-response frameworks and copywriting methodologies — Eugene Schwartz, Claude Hopkins, Gary Halbert, and similar practitioners — including customer awareness stages, market sophistication, and positioning
  • Mastery of hooks, open loops, and narrative/storytelling structure, and the craft of writing for different ad formats — short-form social, long-form VSL, and static
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce publish-ready copy independently
  • Deep understanding of customer psychology and the ability to articulate why a piece of messaging resonates with a specific audience
  • Ability to think in angles and big ideas while executing the copy hands-on
  • Comfortable working at startup pace and collaborating cross-functionally with founders, marketers, and designers

Nice to Have

  • Experience with DTC, e-commerce, Shopify, or marketing technology companies
  • Experience creating content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other paid acquisition channels
  • Familiarity with creative performance metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CVR, CAC, and ROAS
  • Experience working directly with founders or early-stage startup teams
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms for research and content development
