The Opportunity

We're hiring a Creative Strategist to join a high-volume performance marketing agency managing a portfolio of DTC and eCommerce brands across paid social channels — owning end-to-end creative strategy and execution for a dedicated book of clients. You'll be the creative engine behind high-converting paid campaigns: writing copy, developing direct-response briefs, tracking performance data in Meta Ads Manager, and guiding a team of designers and content creators to produce brand-consistent content that drives results. This role is built for a strategic creative who can champion a brand's voice and visual identity, move fluidly between data and storytelling, and manage multiple brands simultaneously without dropping a single brief.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Creative Strategy & Execution: Own day-to-day creative strategy and execution across a portfolio of approximately 5 clients — ensuring each brand's voice, visual identity, and campaign objectives are met across all digital touchpoints.
  • Copywriting & Brief Development: Write compelling copy and develop direct-response briefs optimized for ads, landing pages, and production shoots — this is the most critical function of the role.
  • Performance Tracking & Insights: Monitor creative performance in Meta Ads Manager and Atria; make data-informed decisions on focus angles, personas, and formats to continuously sharpen creative strategy.
  • Content Creator Management: Write scripts and production briefs for shoots spanning remote content creators and UGC/hook shoots; ship briefs via content marketplaces and direct relationships, and manage end-to-end logistics from product shipping to content review and timely delivery.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Support and provide feedback to a team of designers and marketers; collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, developers, and other marketing specialists to ensure quality and consistency across the brand portfolio.
  • Client Presentations: Prepare and present weekly creative updates to clients, translating performance data and strategic recommendations into clear, compelling narratives.
  • AI-Powered Content Creation: Leverage AI tools including ChatGPT for copy, Gemini/Veo 3 for video and image generation, and Figma or Canva to mock up ad and organic content — repurposing and generating assets at speed without sacrificing quality.

What You Bring

  • Creative Leadership Experience: 3+ years as a Creative Director or similar role, with a proven track record developing high-converting creatives for paid campaigns and leading direct-response creative strategy.
  • Copywriting & Briefing Expertise: Demonstrated experience writing performance-driven copy and developing detailed creative briefs for ads, landing pages, and production shoots.
  • Paid Social & Analytics Skills: Proven experience in social media performance marketing with the ability to interpret creative performance data and translate insights into actionable strategy adjustments.
  • Communication & Presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present confidently to clients, speak the language of marketing, and champion brand voice across stakeholders.
  • Multi-Brand Management: Proven ability to manage multiple brands simultaneously with strong attention to detail, sharp aesthetic sensibility, and a commitment to brand consistency under fast-paced conditions.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.

Bonus Points if:

  • You have 1+ years of experience as a Creative Director, Creative Producer, or Creative Strategist specifically within an eCommerce or direct response marketing environment.
  • You have experience analyzing paid social creative performance data to inform strategic decisions.
  • You have experience conducting consumer research and surfacing audience insights to shape creative direction.
  • You are proficient in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Figma (note: this role focuses on directing and briefing designers rather than producing assets directly).
