Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile and technically skilled Creative Designer (3D and Multimedia) to join our growing creative team. This is a full-time contract role suited to a designer who moves confidently across both digital multimedia production and three-dimensional design, bringing both disciplines under one roof for our clients.

 

You will report directly to the President and collaborate with internal creative, account, and strategy teams, as well as client-side departments across multiple accounts. The scope spans graphic design, motion graphics, social media content, photorealistic 3D rendering, POSM design, and exhibition booth development. If you are equally at home designing digital campaign assets and building production-ready retail displays, this role was made for you.

Job Title: Creative Designer, 3D and Multimedia

Contract: 3 Months (renewable)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM GST / Abu Dhabi time

Location: Remote / Work Anywhere

Key Responsibilities:

3D Design and Visualization

  • Interpret creative briefs, brand guidelines, and key visuals (KVs) into 3D concepts that are buildable, on-budget, and on-brand.
  • Produce concept-stage 3D visuals quickly for internal review and client pitching.
  • Develop final renders to a photorealistic standard, with accurate lighting, materials, and brand application.
  • Create lifestyle and in-context visualizations for in-store, in-mall, and event environments.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings with dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and structural notes.
  • Produce production-ready files for fabricators and printers, including mock-ups for client approval and pre-press review.
  • Coordinate with fabricators, printers, and production partners to ensure accurate execution.

Point of Sale Materials (POSM), Packaging and Print

  • Conceptualize and design a full range of POSM formats: FSDUs, RDM banners, gondola end-caps, counter displays, shelf strips, wobblers, shelf talkers, floor stickers, danglers, pallet displays, and promotional kits.
  • Develop packaging designs that reinforce brand identity and product appeal, balancing aesthetics with functionality.
  • Prepare and finalize artwork for print, ensuring files meet all production specifications including dielines, colour profiles, bleed, and resolution.
  • Liaise with printing and production vendors to maintain quality and adherence to brand standards.

Booths, Activations and Exhibition Stands

  • Design mall and supermarket activation booths, modular and custom exhibition stands, pop-up retail spaces, kiosks, roadshow units, sampling stations, and event installations.
  • Deliver technical drawings for fabricators, including structural, lighting, and electrical references where applicable.
  • Manage revisions efficiently across multiple rounds of client feedback, flagging production or feasibility concerns early.

Graphic Design and Illustration

  • Develop engaging layouts and illustrations for print and digital media.
  • Support the creative team by producing concepts and mock-ups aligned with brand guidelines and project goals.
  • Create illustrations and visual concepts that enhance brand identity across deliverables.

Branding and Design

  • Collaborate on developing branding materials, including logos, icons, and infographics.
  • Assist in refining brand identities and ensuring cohesive visual elements across all platforms and formats.
  • Work alongside the marketing and strategy teams to maintain brand consistency across campaigns and promotional materials.

Content Creation for Social Media, Digital Advertising and Marketing

  • Design social media graphics that meet platform specifications and campaign objectives.
  • Produce creative assets for digital advertising, including display ads and sponsored posts, aligned with brand messaging.

Motion Graphics and Animation

  • Develop motion graphics and animated illustrations for videos, social media posts, and digital ads.
  • Use industry-standard software (After Effects, Adobe Animate) to produce motion content that meets brand standards in style, colour, typography, and tone.

Photo and Video Editing

  • Edit and retouch images for use in marketing campaigns and product showcases.
  • Assist with video editing tasks including graphics, text overlays, and sound effects for polished multimedia output.

Research, Strategy and Analysis

  • Conduct market and competitor research to inform design strategies.
  • Present insights and suggestions to optimize visuals and messaging in alignment with campaign objectives.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Provide regular updates to the President during check-ins and present design choices clearly and confidently.
  • Liaise with internal teams across creative, marketing, strategy, and account management to ensure all deliverables align with business and client objectives.

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3 or more years of professional experience across 3D design and multimedia creative production.
  • Demonstrated portfolio that includes POSM, booth or activation design, and digital multimedia work.
  • Exposure to FMCG, retail, and event activation projects is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with regional or international retail formats (hypermarket, pharmacy, mall activations) is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills

3D and Rendering:

  • Proficiency in at least two of: 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, SketchUp, Blender, Rhino, or other 3D softwares
  • Rendering: V-Ray, Corona, KeyShot, Redshift, or similar software
  • Technical drawings: AutoCAD or equivalent
  • Bonus: Unreal Engine, Twinmotion, or AR/VR pipeline experience

2D and Digital Design:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Adobe XD
  • Solid understanding of motion graphics and animation principles
  • Knowledge of photo and video editing best practices

Production Knowledge:

  • Understanding of POSM and booth fabrication materials, including MDF, acrylic, foam board, Sintra, vinyl, fabric, metal framing, and LED integration
  • Awareness of printing techniques, including digital, offset, UV, and large-format
  • Experience preparing print-ready and fabrication-ready files

Tools:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Apple Keynote for client presentations
  • ClickUp or similar project management tools

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions clearly.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for aesthetics and typography.
  • Able to manage time effectively across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-managed, reliable on deadlines, and open to iterative feedback.
  • Comfortable working independently within a remote team setup.
