Job Description

Design the Future of Housing with Hive Modular!

Hive Modular is a purpose-built housing startup creating precision-engineered modular homes designed for the Philippines. We integrate architecture, engineering, and sustainability to redefine how homes are built and experienced.

We are looking for a Creative Design Intern who is passionate about visual storytelling, brand expression, and purposeful design. This role is ideal for a student who wants to apply creative skills in a fast-paced startup environment where design directly shapes business growth and brand perception.

Internship Overview

The Creative Design Intern will support the Marketing and Leadership teams in elevating Hive's visual identity across digital, print, and experiential platforms. You will contribute to real brand assets-from social media graphics and pitch decks to event materials and website visuals-while gaining exposure to how design supports strategy, sales, and community-building.

This is a hands-on, portfolio-building opportunity where your work will be seen, published, and used in real campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design social media graphics, visual campaigns, and brand templates
  • Support the creation of pitch decks, proposals, and presentation materials
  • Assist in developing marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, event kits, digital ads)
  • Contribute to website visual updates and content layout improvements
  • Create simple motion graphics or short-form video edits (if capable)
  • Help maintain brand consistency across all visual touchpoints
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions for campaigns and launches
  • Organize and manage design files within shared drives

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program related to Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Fine Arts, Architecture, Marketing, or similar (students from other disciplines with strong portfolios are welcome)
  • Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or equivalent tools
  • Basic understanding of branding, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
  • Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail
  • Organized and comfortable working in a hybrid setup
  • Proactive, resourceful, and open to feedback
  • Interest in architecture, sustainability, housing, or startup environments is a plus
  • Portfolio submission required.

What's In It For You

  • Internship allowance
  • Real-world startup exposure and cross-functional collaboration
  • Direct mentorship from leadership and marketing team
  • Published work you can include in your professional portfolio
  • Certificate of completion
  • Potential consideration for future freelance or full-time roles

If you're ready to build meaningful work and shape how a new generation of homes is presented to the world, we'd love to see your portfolio.
