Creative-Content Editor

We're currently looking for Content Editor for a full remote set-up.

Responsibilities

• Edit in-studio and remotely-recorded footage for screen recordings, interviews, talking heads, and additional graphics.

• Follow production scripts and storyboards while taking direction from producers and curriculum managers and incorporating feedback.

• Communicate daily with your project team via Slack & email.

• Maintain production team backup footage and server as well as online b-roll storage.

• Proactively research, test and implement improvements to team wide media storage protocols and technologies.

• Mentor, train, and onboard on-call remote editors.

Qualifications

• A strong reel showcasing their editing skills and visual storytelling ability

• Minimum 3 years experience in Adobe Premiere

• Minimum 1 year experience in Adobe After Effects

• Strong media management and organizational skills

• Ability to take direction well but also has sound editorial judgment

• Ability to juggle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while remaining calm, organized, and flexible.

• Solid communication skills (written and verbal) and can give and take constructive feedback well

• Drive to seek opportunities to develop technical skills, learns well from failure, and isn't afraid to ask questions

Advantage

• Experience creating Essential Graphics templates in Adobe Premiere

• Experience in sound design, repair and mixing

• Experience editing Ed-Tech video content

Additional Information

• Work Schedule: Varies each week depending on projects. Expectation is no more than 30 hours a week.
