Job SummaryThe CPA Senior Manager provides strategic leadership over accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions. This role oversees complex engagements, ensures adherence to accounting standards, and mentors managers and senior accountants while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage accounting teams, including managers and senior staff
- Oversee financial reporting in compliance with GAAP / IFRS and regulatory requirements
- Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions
- Serve as a key liaison with clients, auditors, and executive stakeholders
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Provide financial insights, risk assessment, and strategic recommendations
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
- Mentor, coach, and develop high-performing accounting professionals
Qualifications- Active CPA license
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 812 years of progressive accounting experience
- 35 years in a senior management or leadership role
- Strong background in public accounting or accounting firm experience
