CPA - Finance & Accounting Analyst (Remote - Night Shift)

Sigma Energy is a small group of companies headquartered in Canada, specialized in providing industrial equipment solutions, including export, sales, repairs, remanufacturing and rental of industrial equipment and spare parts.

We are looking for a CPA to act as Finance and Accounting Analyst and potentially grow to Junior Finance Controller to handle day-to-day accounting and financial planning for main group entity and couple of subsidiaries, ensure accurate reporting across entities, and prepare consolidated financial statements, forecasts, and business plans.

Key Responsibilities and time allocation:

1. Hands-on Bookkeeping and Accounting in Quickbooks and Odoo: 35%

2. Financial Reporting and multi-entities Consolidation mostly in Excel: 30%

3. FP&A Financial Planning and Analysis: 35%

Qualifications:

Must have successfully passed CPA exam in country of origin.

Willing to work night shift to overlap with North American hours.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and/or FP&A (multi-entity or international exposure preferred).

Good knowledge in QuickBooks Online (required).

Advanced Excel skills Experience in financial statement preparation, multi-entity consolidation, and budgeting.

FP&A experience is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and time management.Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
