Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our Finance team. The CPA Accountant will be responsible for managing financial reporting, general accounting functions, tax compliance, budgeting support, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company financial policies. The ideal candidate possesses strong accounting expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger activities and account reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance and variances.
Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and file tax returns, government reports, and regulatory submissions.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections.
- Maintain updated knowledge of tax laws and accounting regulations.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management.
- Support cost-control initiatives and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Implement and maintain internal accounting controls and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial governance standards.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Other Duties
- Support management with financial reports and decision-making analysis.
- Participate in special projects and other finance-related initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
Certification
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
Experience
- Minimum of 35 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and audit coordination.
- Experience in a publicly listed company, technology company, or financial services environment is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and taxation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling SEC, BIR, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
