Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Accounting
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in General Accounting, preferably with supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, bookkeeping, and internal controls
Experienced in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules
Knowledgeable in tax compliance, including VAT, withholding taxes, and quarterly and annual income tax returns
With experience in budget preparation, budget monitoring, and variance analysis
Knowledgeable in account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and journal entries
With experience in inventory and product costing
Experience in coordinating with external auditors and government agencies is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and preferably experienced with accounting software/systems
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information
Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Able to supervise, train, and develop accounting personnel
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information
Willing to work in Makati City
Can start as soon as possible
Job Description
Supervise and coordinate the implementation of established accounting systems, procedures, and policies
Ensure proper accounting treatment of business transactions, efficient maintenance of books of accounts, and proper documentation
Supervise the timely preparation and submission of accurate financial and management reports and supporting schedules
Prepare the Company's budget and conduct monthly budget variance analysis
Prepare quarterly and annual income tax returns and review monthly/quarterly VAT and withholding tax returns
Review and approve payroll, accounts payment vouchers, journal vouchers, petty cash vouchers, and other accounting documents
Review landed costs and product costs to ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory costs
Review branch financial reports, including financial statements, product costing, cash receipts and disbursements, receivables, and bank reconciliations
Coordinate and attend to external audits and examinations by government agencies
Recommend and maintain appropriate accounting databases, computerized accounting systems, and filing systems
Safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of financial and management reports
Supervise, train, and develop accounting personnel
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, Company policies, and statutory requirements
Perform other accounting, financial, and administrative functions that may be assigned by Management
Salary Range: Php 40,000 – Php 50,000
Work Location: Makati City
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
