Job Summary:
The Manager oversees the overall operations of Security, Transportation, and Mailroom services. This role ensures compliance with company policies, government regulations, and service standards while managing budgets, contracts, manpower, and operational efficiency. The Manager provides strategic direction, supervises the (3) three units, and ensures smooth, safe, and cost-effective operations supporting SMDC business needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and supervision over Security, Transportation, and Mailroom Operations.
- Develops and implements policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Ensures compliance with SLAs of third-party service providers (security agencies, transport contractors, couriers).
- Manages annual budgets, cost-efficiency programs, and resource allocation.
- Reviews and validates consolidated monthly reports for accuracy and timely submission.
- Ensures effective supervision of drivers, and staff for compliance with company rules.
- Initiates and reviews contracts, procurement requests, and renewals in coordination with management.
- Oversees risk management, incident reporting, and mitigation measures.
- Coordinates with internal departments to meet service requirements.
- Performs other managerial duties as needed.
- Ensures timely processing of payments of fleet expenses eg., R&M, RFID, fuel, gas and oil etc.
Job Qualifications:
- Education Graduate of a 4-year Business, Public Administration, or Management-related course (Master's degree preferred).
- Licenses Preferably with relevant certifications (e.g., Safety, Security, or Transport Management). Experience At least 710 years in administration, with 35 years in supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Skills (Technical) MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; contract management; report analysis.
